Satozhi (SATOZ) is a cryptocurrency token that was launched in March 2021. It is primarily built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), with future plans to expand to the Ethereum network and its own SATOZ networks. A key distinguishing feature of Satozhi is its implementation of a Proof-of-Burn (PoB) consensus protocol. This mechanism involves the deliberate burning of tokens to reduce their overall supply, which aims to create a deflationary effect and promote energy efficiency in blockchain mining. Unlike traditional Proof-of-Work (PoW) systems, PoB secures network operations through the economic cost of burning tokens rather than extensive computational power. Within this protocol, newly created tokens are automatically distributed to holders every ten minutes. Satozhi is designed to facilitate decentralized finance (DeFi) applications and transactions. It functions as a medium for trading utility tokens, intending to support the stability of various assets within its ecosystem. The project also aims to provide users with a platform for seamless payments, staking, and governance within its ecosystem. The name Satozhi is inspired by Satoshi Nakamoto, reflecting a technical protocol similar to Bitcoin's original proposal, but with the innovation of PoB.
