The platform utilizes a 24-hour bonding curve for token launches. A key feature is a refund mechanism; if the bonding process fails, all investors are intended to receive a full refund of their Solana (SOL). To mitigate concentrated ownership, no single wallet is permitted to hold more than 3% of the tokens during the bonding phase. If the bonding is successful, token claiming occurs gradually. Another source specifies that 70% of trading fees are allocated to early supporters, 15% to developers, and 15% to token buybacks. Despite its stated anti-rug objectives, the project has drawn scrutiny from blockchain analytics firm Bubblemaps. Bubblemaps has raised concerns about suspicious token activity, reporting that the project's creator allegedly distributed Solana tokens to 162 wallets. These wallets then reportedly acquired half of RugProof's token supply at launch. This distribution pattern has been described as mimicking tactics seen in rug pulls and suggesting centralized control, even though the project claims to be decentralized. Further concerns include a lack of clear information regarding the project's tokenomics, team identities, and smart contract audits.
