Pondo (PNDO) is a crypto project that functions as a liquid-staking protocol built on the Aleo blockchain. Its primary purpose is to enable users to earn rewards from their ALEO tokens while simultaneously maintaining liquidity. The protocol is designed to rebalance the delegation of ALEO tokens to validators that offer the highest yields on the network, aiming for optimal performance. The PNDO token is integral to the protocol's fee and rewards structure. It has a fixed supply and is designed to be deflationary, meaning it can only be burned and not newly created. Holders of PNDO tokens have the ability to redeem them for a proportional share of Aleo credits from the Rewards Pool. When users stake their ALEO with Pondo, a portion of the staking rewards goes into a Rewards Pool as a fee. PNDO holders can claim these rewards in Aleo tokens by burning their PNDO, which reduces the total supply and aims to increase scarcity. Pondo Protocol is recognized as Aleo's largest liquid staking protocol. It leverages Aleo's infrastructure to process transactions, facilitating private and verifiable staking operations.
