Pareto USP is a crypto project centered around a synthetic dollar protocol known as USP. This protocol is backed by Real World Assets (RWA), specifically institutional-grade private credit. The primary goal of Pareto USP is to bridge traditional private credit markets with decentralized finance (DeFi). Unlike typical stablecoins that rely on fiat reserves or crypto collateral, USP's value is directly tied to RWA credit exposure. Users can obtain USP by depositing other stablecoins, such as USDC, into the ParetoDollar contract. These deposited assets are then placed into Credit Vaults. These Credit Vaults lend assets to institutional participants, which then generate yield. The project also features sUSP, which is a staked version of the USP token. By staking USP into sUSP, users can earn a yield derived from the interest generated by the Credit Vaults. This interest contributes to a higher value for sUSP compared to plain USP, effectively creating an interest-bearing token. Pareto USP is designed to be a transferable and permissionless asset, facilitating integration across both DeFi and traditional finance (CeFi) to streamline capital deployment, risk management, and settlements. It operates on the Ethereum blockchain and is characterized as a principal-protected, low-fee synthetic dollar designed for efficient redemptions and seamless DeFi composability.
