OverProtocol is a Layer 1 blockchain project focused on enabling individuals to run full nodes on their personal computers. Individuals can act as validators by operating nodes, which involves validating transactions and proposing blocks. In return for their contributions, participants receive native OVER tokens as rewards. OverProtocol aims to create a stable, global peer-to-peer financial network and introduce new financial opportunities. Key applications within the OverProtocol ecosystem include OverScape, which facilitates node operation, and OverFlex, a super application that combines wallet features with a marketplace for Real-World Assets (RWA). OverFlex enables users to acquire real-world items through mobile tickets and provides options for utilizing earned OVER tokens to invest in real-world assets, resell them, or use them as loan collateral. The mainnet for OverProtocol was officially launched on September 4th. The project is compatible with Ethereum-based applications, supporting ERC-20 and ERC-721 token standards.
