Optim OADA (OADA) is a crypto/Web3 project on the Cardano blockchain, described as an innovative ADA derivative system. Its primary purpose is to offer users enhanced yield opportunities, improved governance, and greater composability within the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) ecosystem. The system operates by allowing users to deposit ADA, Cardano's native cryptocurrency, to mint OADA. This deposited ADA is then strategically deployed into various activities through Algorithmic Market Operations (AMOs) to generate yield for the users. Optim OADA distinguishes itself as the first yield aggregation decentralized application (dApp) on Cardano. Optim OADA utilizes a two-token system: OADA and sOADA. OADA is designed to be pegged to ADA and is primarily used as a trading vehicle within the system. In contrast, sOADA represents staked OADA; it is not a pegged token but is the one that accrues all the yield generated by the system. While sOADA receives the yield, it also carries the risk of any potential losses the system might incur. The system allows for minting OADA at a 1:1 ratio with ADA, and users can deposit OADA into a staking vault to swap it for sOADA, with the exchange rate based on accrued yield. The project aims to integrate with other DeFi projects on Cardano to efficiently deploy ADA and generate revenue for users who stake on the platform. Optim OADA also plays a role in advancing DeFi and decentralization on Cardano by aiming to bring liquidity into its DeFi ecosystem and contributing to network security.
