Developers can build their own map-based applications using the Next Earth Operating System (NEOS), which supports smart contracts and dynamic NFTs. Dynamic NFTs are a unique feature where the metadata of the NFT can change via smart contract transactions, offering real-world utility such as updating loyalty points or in-game character attributes. Applications built on NEOS can leverage geolocation and are hosted on specific locations within the Next Earth Metaverse. Landowners in these areas may be eligible for royalties from the application's platform fees. The NXTT token is an integral part of the Next Earth ecosystem, serving as its primary driving force. It is utilized in various activities within the platform. For instance, a portion of the platform fees generated by applications on NEOS is used to acquire NXTT, with some tokens being burned and a percentage allocated to a Stake Reward Pool for NXTT holders. Landowners can stake NXTT tokens, which is tied to a tier system, and this staking mechanism is designed to redistribute a portion of the project's revenue and recognize user commitment. The token also plays a role in upcoming features like hackathons and a "Work to Earn" system, where NXTT will be used for economic activities and rewards.
