MojitoSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) and an automated market maker (AMM) operating on the KCC (KuCoin Community Chain). It was launched in October 2021 as part of Mojito Finance. The platform aims to serve as a comprehensive hub for decentralized finance, offering various opportunities for users to earn. MojitoSwap leverages the KCC blockchain due to its advantages in providing faster and more cost-effective transactions compared to other networks like Ethereum. KCC is a high-performance, EVM-compatible public chain developed by KCS and KuCoin's community. The project offers a range of features including trading, liquidity pools (referred to as Bar and Wine pools), staking, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and a launchpad. It also includes an "Info" dashboard to keep users updated on various statistics and news, and has an NFT Marketplace. MojitoSwap's contract has been audited by PeckShield, indicating a focus on security. The native token of the platform is MojitoToken, or MJT. MJT is a KRC20 token that serves as the governance token for the MojitoSwap DEX. Holders of MJT can participate in liquidity mining and lending, and are granted governance rights within the future Mojito DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization). The maximum supply of MJT is set at 100,000,000 tokens. MojitoSwap is designed to be community-centered, with plans for progressive community ownership through its DAO. KuCoin Labs has made a strategic investment in MojitoSwap, and the project has received awards in the KCC Unicorn Contest.
