Millennium Club (MCLB) is a crypto and Web3 project operating as a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). Its primary goal is to advance the Web3 ecosystem by fostering a community that shares insights, knowledge, and investment opportunities. The project focuses on growing its treasury and supporting innovations within the cryptocurrency space. The MCLB token functions as the governance token of the Millennium Club DAO. This enables token holders to participate in decision-making processes, influence the direction of the protocol, and steer the treasury strategy. Holders also gain governance rights and access to early-stage deals. Millennium Club aims to create yield opportunities and establish strategic governance positions within various Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocols. The project also includes an "Incubation" arm dedicated to accelerating emerging Web3 projects through investment, liquidity support, and technical expertise. The project incorporates a "buyback and burn" mechanism, which is designed to channel value from DAO activity back to the token. This involves treasury profits being used to buy back and subsequently burn MCLB tokens. The initial issuance of MCLB tokens was 50 million, with a substantial portion allocated to multisig wallets, which were later burned. Additional MCLB tokens have also been bought back and burned. Millennium Club has also introduced a Liquid Staking Token (LST) called mFTM. This involves staking FTM tokens on nodes operated by MCLB team members.
